Since I was an undergraduate student I knew that the Sclocchi Award was a prestigious recognition in the geophysical field. Receiving the award for my PhD thesis some years later, is a matter of great personal satisfaction.
It is also a way to widen the audience of the research I dealt with to the whole Italian geoscience community.

It is really enthusiastic to have such a competition to push your limits further especially in an energy transition phase like the one we are currently experiencing. Two years ago I won one of the special mentions, but today I win the award itself.
